Gstaad in the winter is a brilliant holiday getaway and a great opportunity to relax, ski or even hike the surrounding mountains. However, if you have no childcare, these things are much more difficult to do. Luckily, here at Lovell Camps we offer a daily day care service during the winter months at Le Grand Bellevue Hotel called “Kids Club”. From 10am to 6pm Tuesday to Sunday, our Kids Club will run from mid-December until the end of March, for children aged 2 to 5 years. Options of a half or full day are offered as well as a hot lunch and morning and afternoon snacks.
Our qualified staff who run this service follow a scheduled program that includes daily swim lessons, optional ski lessons, arts and crafts along with games and reading.
An example of a daily schedule:
- 10:00 – 10:30 arrival and playtime
- 10:30 – 11:30 swimming in the Le Grand Bellevue Hotel pool
- 12:00 – 12:30 lunchtime
- 12:30 – 13:45 naptime/ playtime
- 14:00 – 15:30 optional ski lessons
- 16:00 snack time
- 16:15 – 18:00 playtime, reading, arts and crafts
For those children who do not attend swimming or ski lessons, a staff member will always be at the Le Grand Bellevue Hotel continuing activities and games. For those children who nap during the day, a nap room with cots is provided.
Kids Club not only gives your children the opportunity to ski and swim, but it also gives the opportunity for your children to make new friends with other children.
