The camp world is growing and becoming more and more popular, with more options in types of camps and locations. We believe that Lovell Camps is a perfect choice of camp as we offer not only summer camp but winter as well. Our ideal and stunning location here in the Swiss Alps offers us so many activities and opportunities.
Lovell Camps welcomes all children between the ages of 5 and 16 years of every nationality and culture.
Our Mountain Lodge is located in the alpine town of Schönried, just 3.5km from Gstaad and a few minutes’ drive from the Schönried chair lift and train station. The surrounding town of Saanen, Gstaad and Zweisimmen offer our camp so many activities, programs and of course, hikes. Our setting looks over the town of Gstaad and beyond to the Glacier 3000 mountain. We are surrounded by hills, mountains and farmland which adds to the entire Swiss experience.
With the dramatic change of seasons we get here in the Swiss Alps, it means that we can offer a winter ski camp as well as a typical Canadian summer camp. We are located in the well-known ski resort of Gstaad that holds 58 lifts – two of which are just a few minutes’ drive from our Mountain Lodge. In the summer months these ski mountains turn into the perfect hikes and cookout spots.
Most of our activities are based outdoors so it’s the perfect chance for your children to spend time out of doors, and where else better than the Swiss Alps.
Day to day, we focus mainly on fun activities and excursions, but we also include language lessons and swim lessons. We are an English-speaking camp but the languages we offer can also be in English along with German, French and even Spanish.
Overall, Lovell Camps has a lot to offer, between language lessons, swim lessons, activities and excursions, and thanks to the beautiful Swiss Alps, we are able to offer all these whilst being in these stunning surroundings. With all that we offer and our beautiful location, lots of memories and many friendships are made.
