Winter is eagerly knocking on our door and preparing for a top-notch ski season! Over 60 cm of snow has already fallen in the last five days at the Mountain Lodge. This is just the beginning and will help to develop a solid base of snow on the mountains for the rest of the season. Many people have already taken advantage of this early snowfall and have been out skiing on Glacier 3000!
Here at Lovell International Camps in the heart of the Swiss mountains we offer wonderful school ski trips, resulting from over 40 years experience running an international school and camp. We understand that each school or group is unique. We can tailor the programs specifically to fit the needs of any group.
The skiing here in Switzerland is top quality, and the Gstaad region is one of the largest and most diverse winter sports regions in the country. The region offers over 220 kilometers of ski-able terrain and guaranteed snow between the end of October through to the start of May. Our ski resort offers a taste of everything from absolute beginner skiers, who can enjoy the eight different nursery slopes, to the most advanced skiers, who can enjoy the difficulty of the black pistes, three snow parks, ski-cross run and a timed race-course. Compared to other ski resorts in Switzerland, the Gstaad region remains untouched, meaning line-ups don’t exist and you will never feel crowded on the slopes. If it isn’t skiing you are looking for, the region offers hundreds of kilometres of hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails, numerous tobogganing tracks and ice sports such as skating and curling, not to mention beautiful village towns with many shops and restaurants. There is something here for everyone!
We work with many well-known and reputable schools from all over the globe and our relationships continue to develop. We are happy to welcome back numerous returning schools again this winter! Basel International School is joining us for not one week, but three weeks of programming this year. We have been working with Basel International School since 2011 and we are thrilled for our partnership to be growing and developing further. We are proud to welcoming and hosting new and returning school ski trips from Oman, Japan, Uganda and many from the United Kingdom this season!
During a week’s school ski trip, not only do you get a lot of high quality ski and snowboard instruction from our professionally trained staff with full supervision but you also experience a very wide scope of apres-ski and evening activities. Apres-ski and evening programs may include, language lessons (English or French), swimming, rock climbing, skating, sledding, tennis/badminton, various sports & games, scavenger hunts, night hikes and camp fires, talent shows, movie nights, bowling and disco parties! The ski instructors carefully monitor all of these programs, so there is much continuity and bonding between campers and staff, which sets us apart from other programs.
No wonder so many schools rebook us each year for their school ski trips! Why not ensure your school also enjoys a special winter camp experience, here is beautiful Switzerland with Lovell Camps by contacting us today.
