The senior and junior campers enjoyed an action packed weekend full of exciting activities! Saturday morning saw all campers take a shopping trip into Gstaad where campers got the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and stock up on treats to eat during that evening’s movie night. The sun was shining and everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch sitting on the lawn at the Mountain Lodge. In the afternoon, a group of campers headed to the Saanen outdoor pool in order to cool down, practice their diving skills and have some fun on the water slide. At the same time, a group of campers choose to watch the Gstaad World Tour Beach Volleyball Tournament. They were able to watch Switzerland playing Brazil and Germany playing Holland. Unfortunately, Switzerland lost to Brazil however Mr. Arthur was extremely happy when Germany won against Holland! Saturday evening was spent relaxing watching Zootopia and enjoying some delicious treats. Campers enjoyed an Amazing Race on Sunday at the Launensee, planned by Mr. Josh! Campers were divided into three teams, and had to race to various stations around the lake to complete tasks such as boating to the middle of the lake to collect balloons and trying to sneak up on Ms. Erin in order to collect equipment to make smores. After a long hot day the campers headed to the Zweisimmen outside pool for a cool down swim and relax.
All campers and staff are looking forward to the upcoming weekend excursions which include a trip to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, a boat ride on the lake and watching the Swiss Tennis Open in Gstaad.
